Arranging a Funeral

On the day of the funeral we are there to organise and supervise the entire service, and to handle any situation which may arise. You may safely leave everything to us and our trained staff.

If your loved one passes away in hospital or in a nursing home, contact your funeral director. We will advise you on everything that needs to be done, and will make all the necessary arrangements.

If your loved one passes away at home, the first thing to do is call your doctor or the palliative care nurse. We then suggest that you contact your funeral director before any further arrangements are made. Again, we will advise you on everything which needs to be done, and will make all the necessary arrangements.

We are available 7 days a week to assist you. As Funeral Directors, our first role is to assist and advise you in any way we can when the death occurs. It is our responsibility to transfer the deceased to the Funeral Home and make all the funeral arrangements in conjunction with the minister or celebrant of your choice and with the crematorium or the cemetery.

We collect all the necessary certificates and send them to the appropriate authorities, arrange special certificates and permits necessary for cremation, lodge death and funeral notices in the newspapers of your choice and attend to the registration of death.
